What issues/problems does your invention try to address?

Currently, traditional publishing companies have strong presence in the publishing industry. Sony can establish its own digital publishing company where like Music we can develop contracts with authors to publish their books digitally. We should also get the system setup to transform the content into the format that is compatible with the ebook platform. Eventually, when the traditional book publishing industry transforms into a digital era, Sony and its developed library could be in the forefront.

Explain your invention and specifically identify the new and novel features.

This idea has to do with the creation of Sony Digital Publishing House. Sony needs to setup the platform for acquiring content, transform the content into ebook format and market the content digitally through our existing and new generation of ebook readers. The platform includes mechanism to transform words and graphics into digital content. Currently, Sony acquires content through partnership with traditional publishing companies and Sony also pays 3rd parties to transform the content. We can...
