Abstract

The Email Solution with Communication Intelligence and incorrect recipient is an email solution that provides the user the flexibility to notify system of being an incorrect recipient of an email communication for the first time. It increases the intelligence of email system towards awareness of incorrect recipients by introducing features such as notification on incorrect recipient, assistance on different but very similar email ids, visually distinguishing incorrect recipients etc. This idea is applicable for users with in the same enterprise. It can also be extended to users outside the enterprise as a future scope.

Disclosed is the blueprint of an email solution that provides the user the flexibility to notify system of being an incorrect recipient of an email communication for the first time. It increases the intelligence of email system towards awareness of incorrect recipients. Based on this information, system agent feature will notify any sender about incorrect recipient, before sending the irrelevant content to him in future. The feature will also assist sender by suggesting all the different but very similar email ids while attempting to send an incorrect recipient who is recorded in the system. The feature will also keep most, if not all, recipients informed about the existence of an incorrect recipient by displaying the incorrect recipient with visually distinguishable character. This idea is applicable for users with in the same enterprise. It can also be extended to users outside the enterprise as a future scope.     The system context is explained in the Fig.1. One can implement the system by following the design steps as described below. The design step as described below is applicable for email solution implemented on *Lotus *

Notes client and domino server.

Step 1: Generate a copy of the implementation template out of the implementation design of existing system. This template is modular and reusable and is accessible easily from the source management server. This copy of existing template can be modified to implement the solution Architecture described in the document.

Step 2: Create a database View to store the information related to sender, recipient, email subject etc.

Step 3: Tokenize all the places where lotus script, code or design scripts need to be introduced or changed, such as to "send", "send and file" etc. event specific lotus scripts. Also tokenize the

business time and effort.

place in the script that needs an upgraded code required for implementation of group email ids.

Step 4: Write modular script snippets that implement all the requirements as described in step 3 to satisfy the architecture. The script snippets can be made modular by including them in a script library.

Step 5: Replace all the tokens as mentioned in Step 3 by appropriate script calls that execute script snippet included in a script library, as mentioned in Step 4.

Step 6: Package the Script library, Scripts, and Design etc. in the new template.

Step 7: The new template can be reviewed, tested and deployed into the production server. The application of the new template that installs the upgraded system can be scheduled by the Administrat...
