Abstract

The principle of the invention consists in giving the right orientation to tag antennas when presented in front of an RFID reader. A new RFID tag is equipped with a rotating antenna. The orientation of the antenna is given by permanent magnetic devices built in a pallet. The field produced by these devices acts on the tag?s antenna orientation such that the antenna is catching the maximum reader electromagnetic field improving the visibility of the tag.

With the invention, tags are oriented by the magnetic field coming from magnets built in the pallet giving them the best antenna orientation. In this way it is avoided missing tags due to bad orientation.
