A method and system for facilitating a user to input options provided by a virtual operator during a call is disclosed. Keypad buttons of the user's mobile phone corresponding to options provided by the virtual operator during the call are automatically lightened up to facilitate user input or select an option.

Disclosed is a method and system for facilitating a user to input or select options provided by a virtual operator during a call.

The method begins with the user calling a number, such as, a toll-free corporate number using user's mobile phone. In response to the user's call, a virtual operator associated with the called number responds with options available to the user. For example, when the user calls the toll-free corporate number of a mobile phone service provider, the virtual operator may provide options to the user, such as, "For English, Press 1", "For Spanish, Press 2" and the like.

In response to the virtual operator providing options to the user, the system automatically sends numbers associated with the options to the user's mobile phone, over a media session. Accordingly, keypad buttons of the user's mobile phone corresponding to the numbers received over the media session are lightened up.

In a scenario, when the user's mobile phone has a virtual keypad, all numbers, except the numbers corresponding to the options are automatically eliminated. Thus, the user may only see the numbers corresponding to the options. Alternatively, th...
