Abstract

When you have many E-mail in your everyday in your mail client, such as outlook, lotus notes, you may need a lot of time to read them one by one to find useful mails. It's easy to order them by topic or sender. But, it's hard to have a big picture of your mails, like how many mails from certain people, or how many topics have been discussed, especially when you want to know the result for a certain time period.

The implement include 3 parts, the first part is the function select time method , the 2nd and 3rd part are 2 new views for current E-mail client.

1. One function of them is to limit the time period . See the picture below, you can easily define the time period you want with the bar . When the start time and the end time is defined , the result of the 2 views will be generated only bythe E -mails in the defined time period.


2. People view

Use the function in 1# above to select the time period , and generate the following report :

With the selected time period (yyyy/mm/dd 10:00 - yyyy/mm/dd 16:00), the following people have sent your E -mail:
