Indivisual Language Settings for Each Internet Site

Currently, internet browsers have features to set language preferences such as through Internet Options in IE(Internet Explorer). Internet sites which have several language versions to show their contents use this language preference setting to automatically determine in which language to show the sites. However, most of recent browsers have tabs to display multiple sites (such as IE 7.0, Mozilla, FireFox, Opera etc…) but only has one language preference setting for the whole browser. This language preference will influence all site in tabs. For example, if a user wants one site-A to be in English and other site-B to be in Japanese, user needs to set language settings every time user moves from one tab to the other. This kind of operation is troublesome for users. An example of such site is often seen in manuals. Manuals are often translated from English to other languages and sometimes manual are mistranslated, so users prefer manuals to be in English but other news site in their own language, such as Japanese. In such cases, in order to read English manual and Japanese news using one internet browser through tabs, users need to set language preference each time user moves from one tab to the other.

To solve this, if internet browsers have features to be able to set language preferences per tab or per URL/site, it will offer great flexibility and will be easy to use.

Also, there are sites which use internet browser installation languages or OS languages to automatically determine in which language to show the content. For this kind of sites, users need to change browser's installation languages or OS languages which are not very easy to do.

This invention can handle such internet sites.

There are mainly 2 ways to set language for internet browsers.
1. Internet browser options
2. Internet browser's system language

Using '1' to change the language of the site's content.

The language that was set through browser's internet option will be set at 'Accept-Language'

parameter in HTTP headers. Each site uses this value to display the site content in its language

accordingly. Therefore, by setting preferred language per URL/site and register the settings in a file, for example, each time user accesses the site which has registered preferred language settings, set that language value to 'Accept-Language' parameter and send HTTP request. Also, by implementing feature to choose...
