Disclosed is a method to change optimized visual feedback of input method editor considering bandwidth of network under remote desktop environment.

The current issue on the remote desktop under slow network traffic is slow visual response of input method system. The input method system is a most frequent user-computer interaction on the desktop environment and it impacts user experience and effectiveness of the end user operation. The current remote desktop environment provides the same visual feedback of the input method regardless the network speed and/or its bandwidth.

This method considers the network bandwidth and changes the visual feedback style of the input method editor to reduce size of data transfer between client side and server side of the remote desktop environment.

The following steps describe how the method works and the examples show how much data size can be reduced by using this method.
