System and methof for Intelligent Calendar display and management based on Invitees status

The proposed invention aims to address the problem of assisting a calendar system user for managing the organization of the calendar system view, per invitees' status.

The following naming conventions are used in the rest of this document:

- Meeting = meeting event in the calendar of the user where the user is the chair

- Meeting color status = color defined by user to be used for calendar organization and / or display

The approach for calendar management currently followed by most, if not all, calendar systems, is based the type of meeting,
i.e. MEETING, APPOINTMENT, ALL DAY EVENT...100051

But there is no management of the organization and / or display of the calendar view, based on invitees status, with:

- Automation
- Replicate actions

The proposed solution is based on:

- Implementation of an internal "MEETINGSTATUS" table as shown on figure 1, recorded on the user workstation, as a 2D matrix tying automatically and dynamically the calendar elements and related invitees status. Invitees' status may be Accepted, Tentative, Declined, for each type of invitee, Required, Optional or For Your Information (FYI).

- Introduction of a new method, detailed by the workflow on figure 2, with its associated user interface, bridging, when needed, the calendar display operation and the user defined colors.
