System and method to automatically trigger and provision collaboration based on working threads and context

Disclosed is a system and method to detect a rapidly evolving email thread that aggregates all content from the email threads and automatically provision and launch corresponding collaboration tools.

Consider a scenario wherein for initiating an email, a sender composes an email to one or more recipients.

Upon receiving the email from the sender, one of the recipients responds to the original email sent by the sender, wherein the response is also sent to the other recipients.

Subsequently, the originator will respond to the email from the first recipient, also wherein the response is also sent to the other recipients

Now consider a different recipient responding to the original email, wherein the response is also sent to the other recipients

The system will then detect, by comparing time stamps and the message hierarchy within the email thread, that the messages have become out of synch.

When a web conference or chat session is initiated from the email, the system will launch an email thread agent which traverses the email threads and searches for branches that originated from the sender.

The system includes an email thread agent that identifies all contributors to the email.

When all contributors are identified by the email thread agent, it then initiates the provisioning and launch process for the collaboration tools (i.e. chat or web conference).
