Method and System for managing and generating email answers notification based on expiration time

Several times when an email is sent and requires a reply, it happens that the receiver forgets to answer it in the required timeframe as well for the sender. The proposed solution introduces a new method and system to notify both senders and receivers about the approaching answer expiration date using an escalation mechanism. With the proposed approach, a mechanism is introduced to improve emails notification handling allowing senders and receivers to be automatically alerted about critical emails that need to be answered. The method will improve the email communication process.

The proposed approach consists in:
1. A specific use of the mail header respecting the standard (see RFC2822).
2. An algorithm to handle notification mechanisms based on the new

We introduce a new TAG named Answer-Expiration

Hereafter the involved header fields and their use:

TO (Standard required field): It contains the list of receivers separated by comma. Answer-Expiration (new required field): it contain a list of the corresponding expiration time for each receiver in the TO field (-1 for the receivers where an expiration time is not required; it could be extended to CC and BCC fields as well)

Let's describe the basic flow of the solution (figure 1)
