Abstract

WSPS is used in a liner hanger system. The purpose is to allow the rig to circulate after the cementing liner wiper plug has landed. This system will be used in cemented liners in horizontal wells. The reestablished circulation will give the rig the opportunity to pump fluid out the shoe track with out drill it out. Allowing the operator to pump the shoe track clean of cement, while keeping float equipment functional after landing the cementing plugs. WSPS is a system of tools used in a liner system. The purpose is to allow the rig to circulate after the liner wiper plug as landed. The system includes and drill pipe plug, liner wiper plug and plug landing collar. The drill pipe plug will have a rupture disc in the inside. Once the plugs land in the landing collar the liner and be pressure tested, then the pressure is raised to the shear pressure of the rupture disc. Once the rupture disc has blown, circulation can be reestablished. Allowing the operator to pump the shoe track clean of cement, while keeping float equipment functional. This system will be used in cemented liners in horizontal wells. The reestablished circulation will give the rig the opportunity to pump fluid out the shoe track with out drill it out. This will save the operator capital expenditure.
