Abstract

A method and system for searching of information related to a live conversation in real time is disclosed. The method involves recognizing keywords including, but not limited to, words, sentences, phrases, acronyms, numerals, and alphanumeric characters from the live conversation. Upon recognizing the keywords of the live conversation, a search is performed for determining content related to the keywords. Thereafter, the content related to the keywords is provided to participants of the live conversation.

Disclosed is a method and system for searching of information related to a live conversation in real time. The method involves recognizing keywords including, but not limited to, words, sentences, phrases, acronyms, numerals, and alphanumeric characters from the live conversation. The keywords may be recognized from the live conversation using a speech-to-text conversion technique. Upon recognizing the keywords of the live conversation, a search is performed for determining content related to the keywords. Thereafter, the content related to the keywords is provided to participants of the live conversation.

The method and system for searching of information related to a live conversation in real time is further explained using an algorithm illustrated in the figure.

As shown in the figure, a speech-to-text conversion of the live conversation is performed. The speech-to-text conversion may be performed by a device having access to a speech content of the live conversation. In a scenario, the device may access the speech content from a speech recording unit. In another scenario, the device may access the speech content by receiving the speech content through a sensor, for example, a microphone. The speech-to-text conversion of the speech content is performed for recognizing keywords from the live conversation. Upon recognition of the keywords, a search is performed using the keywords for determining content related to the keywords. In an embodiment, a topic may be identified from the recognized keywords.
