Abstract

A method and system for providing tiered services/pricing of content to customers of a service provider based on credit ratings of the customers which indicate the credibility of the customers. The service provider may be, but not limited to, a telecommunication service provider and an internet service provider. The credit rating of the customers may be provided by the service provider of the customers. These credit ratings may be shared with application providers affiliated with the service provider. Based on the credit ratings of the customers, the application providers may provide tiered services/pricing of the content of the application providers to the customers.

Disclosed is a method and system for providing tiered services/pricing of content to customers of a service provider based on credit ratings which indicate the credibility of the customers. The service provider may be, but not limited to, a telecommunication service provider and an internet service provider. The credit rating of the customers may be provided by the service provider of the customers. These credit ratings may be shared with application providers affiliated with the service provider. Based on the credit ratings of the customers, the application providers may provide tiered services/pricing of the content of the application providers to the customers.

The method and system for providing tiered services/pricing of content to customers of a service provider based on credit ratings of the customers is further explained using an algorithm illustrated in the figure.
