Social networking applications are continuing to grow in popularity. Individuals and their relationships with one another are important in understanding everyday collaborative interactions. This information is unfortunately, not being used to help predict attendance. The proposed invention does this.

A meeting moderator wishes to setup a meeting

The moderator marks users as they would today as required, cced, or optional

Before hitting the send button the moderator may choose to view the likelihood of the required

individuals attending. Indicating this option could be done through the following mechanisms:

For those individuals who have a small likelihood of attending, the moderator can:

add additional attendees to view an updated likelihood

be prompted with suggested attendees that will increase the likelihood

remove the user

be prompted to increase the meeting priority

The moderator can make changes to the list of meeting attendees.

view a scenario of how the likelihood will change when another participant is added or removed.
