Method and System for Delivering Messages based on Security and Transactional Contexts

Disclosed is a method and system for delivering messages to one or more consumers based on security and transactional contexts.

Messages from one or more producers may be classified into one or more groups. The groups may include secured messages and transactional messages. Secured messages are messages that are required to be retrieved over a secured connection. Transactional messages are associated with a transactional context and are to be retrieved by consumers working within the transactional context. Accordingly, a message may be classified as one or more of a secured message, an un-secured message, a transactional message and a non-transactional message. The messages are sent to a common destination and are retrieved by the consumers. Generally, consumers are responsible for selecting the mode for retrieving the messages. The messages do not have a self-definition providing the security and transactional context. Accordingly, a consumer may initiate a secure connection to retrieve secured and non-secured messages. Similarly, a consumer working within a transactional context may retrieve non-transactional messages along with the corresponding transactional messages. Therefore there is a need for a method and system for delivering the messages based on security and transactional contexts.

The method and system includes information in the messages regarding the corresponding security and transactional contexts provided by the producers. Accordingly, the messages are delivered based on the security and transactional contexts. For example, messages may have a transactional context defined without any security context. In such a case, the mess...
