Abstract

This document shows two variations of a net tensioning system disclosed in EP 2 044 830 A1. The variations aim to increase the brake pressure onto the net roll. The increase in the force of a brake rod onto the net roll is achieved by using a lever, one leg of which is acted upon by the net pulled by a bale in a bale chamber and the other leg of which acts against a fixed structure, like a structure or a roll journalled in a structure. By means of a bearing between the two legs, the movement of the lever is transmitted onto a tensioning arm

The respective ends of the legs of the lever may carry rolls, so that the net is pulled more easily over one leg and the other leg does easily roll on the support roll.
