Disclosed is a method and system for scheduling meetings based on an identified context. The identified context may be a set of implicit relationships existing between the users. For example, previous meetings between a set of users may be used to determine a level of intent for the set of users in attending a scheduled meeting. Accordingly, the level of intent may be used to enable a user to accept the schedule of the meeting on behalf of another user. Alternatively, a level of interest of a user in a specified topic may be used for accepting the schedule of meeting on behalf of the user. For example, if it is known from the previous meetings that the user has a substantially high level of interest in a particular topic, a schedule for a meeting for discussing a similar topic may be accepted by another user on behalf of the user. Additionally, collaborative relationships that may exist between the users may be used for enabling a user to accept the schedule on behalf of another user. The user is provided with a User Interface (UI) to accept a schedule of a meeting on behalf of other users invited to the meeting.
