Abstract

The new gear lever centralization design uses two springs and a plastic cap to support the lever with the help of spring dowel on the lever used to mount the ball in the cavity. The springs are put into two blind holes drilled into the shift cover and provide spring force against cap. The spring dowel on the lever butts against springs on either side and with counter spring force lever centralization is achieved.
