Problem Statement

Traditionally, all data for a client in a backup set is sent to the same location and is treated uniformly. Given the growth of the cloud based storage market and its implications with respect to data security and data loss prevention caused by off-premise residency of data, this uniform treatment in many situations is no longer optimal.
