Abstract

In control center software solutions, several values, like real-time values, calculated values, estimated values or other specific values are displayed by network diagrams. Hereby the possibility consists, that electrical networks run into outages, which might cause damage to network equipment. To prevent such an outage, the operators need to be able to identify, when measurement values exceed upper or lower limits. In this case countermeasures have to be performed quickly. Also the maximum allowed range of a measurement value and its current value should be displayed to avoid outages. Today, to fulfill all these needs mentioned above, each vendor of control center software invented his own solution. Therefore different UI elements (UI=User Interface) are prevented, in which each vendor needs to implement the functionality by his own. This leads to a big effort on design, implementation and test phase.
