Disclosed is a method and system for selecting one or more search results from a web search and aggregating the one or more selected search results.

The method and system for selecting one or more search results from a web search and processing the one or more selected search results is illustrated using Figure.  The one or more search results are hereinafter referred to as search results.

In an embodiment, a user may select search results from a web search as shown in Figure.  In order to select the search results from the web search, a selectable entity is provided with each search result of the web search.  The selectable entity may be, but not limited to, a button, an icon, and a link.  In a scenario, a user may click on selectable entities for selecting the search results of the web search.  Upon selecting the search results of the web search, the search results are stored in a section of a web search interface.  The section may be named as ‘My results’, or ‘My links’.  Further, the user may click on the section to retrieve the search results selected by the user.  In case the user clicks on the section, the search results are retrieved and displayed on a new page.  The user may r...
