Abstract

This method provides an efficient and graphical GOOSE configuration engineering oriented application level, which hide behind IEC61850 knowledge background for engineer who only need to take care about signal logic relationship between IEDs but skip detailed GOOSE signal orgnization based IEC61850 standard in the GOOSE configuration engineering. Futhermore, better GOOSE link presentation oriented application level can be given in friendly graphic view for monitoring or documentize.

This method include main key steps during GOOSE configuration

1. GOOSE import module will load all required icd/cid or SCD file then create IEC61850 data model in the memory.

2. The GOOSE application view which engineer planed, e.g. station-wide interlock, is

                         o s app ca on v ew, en links also are created between IEDs, finally wanted GOOSE signals are attached to corresponding GOOSE link, finally a completed GOOSE application view is finished.

3. According to above GOOSE application views, GOOSE link optimization module automatically optimizes to create GOOSE dataset and GOOSE control block and address information and external input information in GOOSE configuration tool, so that engineer don't care about the details of GOOSE signal organized based on IEC61850 standard. At the same time, GOOSE traffic evaluation will be made and analyzed result will be provided to engineer for reference.

4. Save all GOOSE configuration information and export to SCD file.
