Method and System of Automatically On -boarding Trading Partners in a Point to Point Fashion

Usually a company uses Business to Business (B2B) gateway software to trade goods and services with other companies. For trading goods and services, a company is required to communicate with other companies in order to share and obtain information about various companies. Information may correspond to contact information, protocol information, and security certificate information of companies. The obtained information is then entered manually into the B2B system. The method of manually entering information into the B2B system for each company becomes time consuming and error prone especially for a company which is communicating with large number of other companies.

Disclosed is a method and system of automatically on-boarding trading partners in a point to point fashion. The method allows a company to automatically upload information of other companies through a B2B gateway connection. A B2B gateway connection may correspond to a connection of B2B gateway software of one company with B2B gateway software of another company through a Point to Point (P2P) connection.

Figure illustrates the method as disclosed herein for automatically on-boarding a trading company on another company's B2B system.
