Abstract

Interaction becomes more and more important and has been the daily activity among individuals in an enterprise, and nowadays intelligent devices such as smart phones are being widely used for individual interaction. A new method is proposed to initiate interaction of intelligent devices such as smart phones from one to many. The interaction is initiated easily by user's flick on the touch screen of the intelligent device, all his/her intended audiences are identified and determined automatically.

Interaction becomes more and more important and has been the daily activity among individuals in an enterprise, and nowadays intelligent devices such as smart phones are being widely used for individual interaction. A person may want to share some acquired information via his smart phone immediately with those who are with him in a close location and have also smart phones. Potentially there should have lots of demands for users to initiate an interaction among smart devices located in the same place. So how can the individuals' smart phones be connected easily to facilitate interaction e.g. sharing information and playing games etc?

Regularly, there may have a centralized server waiting for client's connection, the two clients will be enabled for interaction once both are registered in the centralized server. Also some wireless connections e.g. bluetooth are widely leveraged, one sends an a request to another then gets connected once the other accepts the request. But setting up a centralized communicating server is time consuming and costs much, meanwhile p2p connection need to be set up manually in the mobile operating system by the user to initiate the interaction between the initiator and the targets.

Below relevant disclosures or patents are found during search for sharing information between intelligent devices.Disclosure[1]: A method of display indicator in remote display device and touch screen deviceinform the user with the location information of the finger or stylus pen on the remote display device. When touch screen device outputs display to remote display device, if the user touches the screen, there will be one indicator on the remote display

which shows the touch location. But it only interact with the remote display device, not with another touch screen device. And it only focus the interactive operation after the connection is successful. So it is different from our idea.Patent[2] US20060241864A1: Method and Apparatus for Piont-and-Send Data Transfer within an Ubiquitous Computing Environment is to be disclosed wherein a user can point a handheld unit at one of a plurality of electronic device and send data to it. Patent[3] US20070146347A1: Flick-Gesture Interface for Handheld Computing Devices can be used for wirelessly transferring at least one data file in response to a detection of a flick gesture performed by a user. An electronic device to receive at least on data file from a handle computing device. The flick gesture comprises the user touching the icon with a finger and then sliding the finger quickly across the display in a motion. But it needs the hardware support and the handheld device is pointed in the direction of the electronic device, then the processor determine when to set up the connection and transform the files.
