Method and System for Using a Terminal Server in a Dynamic Cloud Environment

Disclosed is a method and system for using a terminal server in a dynamic cloud environment. The terminal server operates in the dynamic cloud environment that includes a set of hardware components required for one or more of, but not limited to, computing, storing and networking. The terminal server is connected to each hardware component in the dynamic cloud environment. A unique connector may be used for connecting the terminal server to each hardware component of the set of hardware components within the dynamic cloud environment. The unique connector may be connected to one of a Universal Serial Bus (USB) port and a serial port of the corresponding hardware component.

In a scenario, when a hardware component becomes inaccessible in the dynamic cloud environment, then a user can reconfigure the hardware component by accessing the hardware component via the terminal server. The user connects to the terminal server using a connector such as, but not limited to, a USB port of the terminal server, and selects the hardware component to be reconfigured. Thereafter, the terminal server forwards the user request to the selected hardware component and manages protocols required for connecting the terminal server to the hardware component.
