ABSTRACT

The use of a minicomputer based graphics system in a large process engineer- ing construction organization is presented. The difference between a purely drafting system and a design & drafting system is delineated; the concept of merging engineering functions to increase productivity is explained. A typical application is described and new applications under development are outlined.
