    A New Crystalline Form of (1S,3S,5S)-2-((2S)-2-Amino-2-(3- hydroxyadamantan-1-yl)acetyl)-2-azabicyclo[3.1.0]hexane-3-carbonitrile

(1S,3S,5S)-2-((2S)-2-Amino-2-(3-hydroxyadamantan-1-yl)acetyl)-2- azabicyclo[3.1.0]hexane-3-carbonitrile has the following chemical structure:

A new crystalline form of (1S,3S,5S)-2-((2S)-2-Amino-2-(3-hydroxyadamantan-1-yl)- acetyl)-2-azabicyclo[3.1.0]hexane-3-carbonitrile can be obtained by placing a 1 gram of the monohydrate Form, (as shown in the figure 2) in an open Petri dish and drying in an oven at 100°C for 5h.

The obtained crystalline form is described in the following figure 1:

Main XRD peaks of the crystalline form are: 7.6, 9.2, 10.5, 10.8, 11.8, 12.9, 14.0, 14.4,
14.7, 15.2, 15.5, 15.7, 16.7, 17.5, 18.4, 18.7, 19.4, 19.7, 20.0, 20.3, 21.0, 21.6, 23.2,


24.2, 28.5 ± 0.2 degrees 2-theta.

The analysis was performed on Philips X'Pert PRO X-ray powder diffractometer, equipped with Cu irradiation source =1.54184 Ǻ (Ǻngström), X'Celerator (2.022º 2 θ) detector. Scanning parameters: angle range: 3-40 deg., step size 0.0167, time per step 37 s, continuous scan.
