Abstract

The Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) recently urged financial institutions to utilize more than one form of customer authentication to mitigate risk of fraud. As these risks extend to mobile banking, Intuit Financial Services (IFS) looked to expand it’s security solutions with support for Multi-factor Authentication at login to help protect end users while ensuring a delightfully easy user experience. IFS has added two-way out of band authentication to its mobile solution, allowing the user to reply within the SMS or voice channel to verify the login action.
