ABSTRACT:

A T shape guide (101) attached to a conveyor belt (102) that allows the belt to be supported/suppressed and guided along the conveyor bed in positive drive conveyors, Z conveyor transition points (103), trough conveyors (104) and return side (105) for all "normal" and fabricated belts.

Each T shape attachment is made of a leg part (106) that is attached to the belt and a top bar/pin (107) which is inserted above/below two parallels bars (108).

Volta Belting Field of the Invention

This invention relates to ways of supporting and guiding conveyor belts. The conveyor belts can be made of rubber, thermoplastic, flat Metal belts, Metal wire mash belts, plastic wire mash, solid non ply belts, ply belts (fabric reinforced), cord reinforced or be mash reinforced belt.

The invention also relates to the design and construction of conveyors using the T guide solution, whereas the conveyors can be made from metal, plastic, costume build, and pre made standardized assembly kits.

Description of the Related Art:

Classic Conveyors when running with flat conveyor belts, have tendency to off-track, have problem in supporting the return side, and in Z shape (also known as Goss neck and Swan Neck) there are problems in the transition points, where the belt moves from a horizontal state to an incline and from Incline back to horizontal, and to hold down belts and stabilize them on a trough conveyor.

To solve those issues the below solutions are available.

1. Guiding the belts- we know of five main systems: First, fixing a V shape profile on the bottom or top side of the conveyor (FIG. 201). This V shape profile is running in a grove along the conveyor and also in a grove in the drive and tail pulley.
