A Method and System for Closed Captioning By Crowdsourcing

Disclosed is a method and system for providing closed captioning by allowing a plurality of consumers of a multimedia content to provide closed captions for the multimedia content during consumption of the multimedia content.

In an embodiment, consumers of a multimedia content are provided with one or more editing options such as, but not limited to creating closed captions, editing existing closed captions, deleting closed captions and changing a timing of a closed caption while consuming the multimedia content.
