Method and System for Alerting a Caregiver of Wakefulness and Activity of a Charge

One of the chief concerns for parents and caregivers is harm that charges such as young children or impaired adults can cause when no one is aware that the charges are actually not asleep, but rather awake and active. Generally, a charge that is awake
may not be at risk but a charge that is awake and active may be at risk .

Disclosed is a method and system for alerting a caregiver of wakefulness and activity of a charge. If the caregiver is alerted, the harm and injury by the charge can be prevented. A charge device is configured for specific parameters required for the charge and is attached to the charge. The charge device can be in the form of a bracelet, a necklace, or any other method of attaching the device to the charge . The charge device attached to the charge is tested for function before attaching to the charge. The charge device and a monitoring device are turned on and checked for function. Thereafter, the monitoring device starts to send a sequence of messages to the monitor over time. The messages can include, but are not limited to, state of the charge device and whether the device is attached. The state of the charge device associated with the charge can be determined using temperature probing of the charge . Further, the messages include the wakeful state of the charge , the activity state of the charge and the position of the charge. The monitoring device raises an alarm to the caregiver based on alarm parameters configured in the monitoring device . The system is configured to install monitoring software on the monitoring device of the caregiver . The monitoring device can be a smart device or a computer . The system allows the caregivers to input parameters using the monitoring software. The parameters can be Internet Protocol (IP) or phone number depending on monitoring device and platform used for monitoring. The parameters also include defined...
