A Smart Karaoke System that Compensates for Singers Voice Deficiencies

Most Karaoke machines put a set of instruments as an accompaniment . These accompaniments do not help many aspiring singers who may be slightly challenged because of a cold, allergy, or other impairments. In addition, the instruments are always at a particular scale and rhythm and may not be conveniently used by singers whose natural scale and rhythms do not match that Karaoke version of a song . Many Karaoke machines are designed either for solo or chorus, but never for both.

The novel contribution is a system whereby a Karaoke machine learns the natural scale and capabilities of one or more singers and adjusts the accompaniment accordingly . The system allows the machine to first learn the natural scale and capabilities of one or a group of singers who are the normal users of the system .

Embodiment 1: For each individual singer, the system tries to adjust the scale and rhythm and other musical qualities for the ease of accompaniment and making the music pleasing to hear.

Embodiment 2: When two or more singers sing together, the system adjusts the musical qualities for the ease of accompaniment and making the music pleasing to hear. Since the musical capabilities vary, one singer might more easily adapt or change the voice than other do.
