The conventional grid defect searching method -- routine inspection

Grid Defectinclude potential safety hazard in transmission and distribution line .

A large distribution of overhead transmission line, exposed to many uncertain circumstances, usually long-term run in nature, easily disturbed by many external factors as well as various creatures in the outdoor environment.

Transmission and Distribution Line to withstand normal mechanical load , electrical load , even extremely workload condition.

Line component faced aging, fatigue, oxidation ,corrosion and so on.

Line faced the atmospheric pollution in nature, lightning, high winds, floods, landslides, seismic subsidence, bird and external damage

Traditional methods overcome the above grid defects by searching all SCADA records and single point analysis for each record by associating necessary information. Drawbacks of these traditional method are time-consuming and extensive effort. The detailed description of traditional method is as follows:
