(Main idea) Use a composite material which laminated aluminum foil and polyester film
+ Adhesive seal for cover seal material

Cover seal is implemented to seal HDD for drop-in cover structure. In many of case, it is difficult to keep stable sealing performance by reason of mechanical tolerance, un-flat cover surface, less space for adhesive sticking tab, poor robustness, limited thickness because of total HDD height spec. Disclosed can solve these problems by using a composite material which laminated aluminum foil and polyester film + Adhesive seal for cover seal material as main idea.

(Sub idea 1) Cover seal layer design which includes;
- Total layer thickness of composite material which laminated aluminum foil and

   polyester film is 40um~60um
- Aluminum foil layer thickness is less than 10um
- Adhesive layer thickness is more than 25um

By this material combination, cover seal can fit top cover and base surface and keep good HDD robustness, and can keep total HDD height lower.

(Sub idea 2) Lower Top Cover height than Base Wall height

This disclosed can keep larger adhesion force because adhesive sticking tab between cover seal and base surface is increased.

(Sub idea 3) Base plate edge step

This disclosed can reduce seal damage potential by handling because of touch less for seal edge directly.
