During group conversation using availabel communication medium , if any invitee joins the conversation late , relay/replay the conversation to the user till the point he has missed , so that he is in context and participate in decision making .

Detailed description:

During a real time group conversation (Telephony, IRC or other medium) some time participants

join late in the conversation. To get late joiners to participate in the conversation we need to bring them up to speed and someone needs to fill them up in background or spend some common time from the meeting time to bring them up to speed and so on which in either case is loss of productivity.

The proposed approach suggests a mechanism to relay/replay the real time conversation from start to the point the user joins in or for the time period user gets disconnected and joins back in. The relay/replay mechanism of the conversation can depend on the mode of the conversation.

Real time group conversation can happen between users using various communication mechanism e.g IRC, audio conference; Web conference etc .Once the conversation has started for late joiners its missed conversation. With this idea suggesting an approach where the chair person can initiate a real time conversation with an option of "preserve" which enables the late

joiners to go through all the content of the conversation and bring himself to speed.

With the proposed approach the moderator can start an audio conference with "preserve" mode for the users who joins in late.

Preserve mode in audio conference will be similar to record the conversation but with further option as suggested .When a conversation is being recorded this recording can be presented to...
