Method and System for Automatically Tracking and Finding Online Experts for Solving Predicted Problems

Disclosed is a method and system for automatically tracking and finding online experts for solving predicted problems.

The method and system automatically tracks one or more online experts to solve the predicted problems based on expert levels. An expert can be any solution predictor

such as, for example, a human. Predictors provide solutions to the predicted problems by evaluating and diagnosing each problem for over a period of time . There exists an evaluation cost and a startup cost for each predictor that generates solutions for each specific problem of interest. Both the evaluation and startup costs for each predictor are selected randomly and are not predefined .

In accordance with the method and system, predictors are selected by evaluating history of earlier performances and are grouped in to different sets so as to obtain an optimal set of predictors. The predictors from each set are selected possibly by sampling individual expert levels and problems are allocated accordingly for obtaining solutions. Subsequently, each set of predictors are revised in response to the changes occurred in individual performances and startup costs that are given or inferred from a data log. Further, the method and system assigns and maintains weights to predictors to continuously revise and move the predictors from one set of expert combination to the other set. The weig...
