Providing Personalized And Optimized Audio Volume Levels To Users

Disclosed is a method and system for providing personalized and optimized audio volume levels to users. The method and system installed in one or more electronic devices, provides an optimum level of audio volume to users while playing or watching entertainment programs such as, but not limited to, movies, songs and plays. Electronic devices utilizing the disclosed method and system include music players, game boxes, and computers. Each user's personalized data is recognized and utilized for controlling audio volume levels of the electronic devices.

In accordance with the method and system, as shown in the figure, each user's audio profile and identity such as, for example, face recognition, is created and stored in the one or more electronic devices. The profile includes user's audio levels from various distances away from electronic devices. When a user switches on an electronic device, it recognizes the user and calculates an optimum volume level corresponding to the user. Subsequently, the electronic device also monitors the user's background noise level for calculating optimum volume level and presents it potentially to the user by adjusting it to a best suitable level.
