Abstract

A program is disclosed by which One or more cameras will be installed in the frame of Head mounted device and will capture photographs in real time basis. User eye will cover the main field of view, and the camera installed in the frame will cover the secondary field of view. As per user’s requirement the secondary field of view will be plotted over the primary field of view.

With existing head device the field of view of any user is always limited. A major portion is out of the field of view. User can not view the content present in the out of field of view. Following diagram (Figure 1) talks about field of and out of field of view of any user.

There has to be mechanism by which head mounted device can be used for increasing the field of view of any user in real time basis so that user can get better information in real time basis.

Invention may use any of the following method:


1) showing a very compressed image (maybe showing 180 degree view in just 10% of edge of glasses for example),
2) having an additional display panel on either side of the main glasses area (still would require a very compressed image... 180 degree view in just 10% of extra glass panel for example)

As per the diagram, multiple cameras have been mentioned but could also use just one on each side with a fisheye lens.

Following diagram (Figure 2) talks about one or more camera installed in the frame of head mounted device will capture the secondary filed of view. The primary field of view will be captured by user's eye. As per this diagram cameras installed in the both sides of the frame and captures images in realtime basis along with user's primary field of view.
