Today's server operating environments especially for datacenter usage mode clients are looking for putting server in a high operation temperature environments (above 40 degree C, 45 or 50 with conditional support).

Given that most of server design today from the market supports only 10~35 degree C or conditional support for 40 degree C and is without knowledge to understand if customer usage model breaks the service agreement or not (hours, days, years in a temperature/humidity range), this could result in high RA rate and service cost for system provider.

Disclosed is a build in mechanism (System RAS Block) and algorithm to detect and record server AC/DC turn on/off tag, monitor, check and record if environment parameter like voltage and temperature going beyond service support agreement.

The algorithm would document the over condition service hour then project the product life impact to individual key components by MTBF calculation.
