Several hair dyeing emulsions and shampoos have been developed based on the direct dyes Basic Blue 124, Basic Red 51, Basic Yellow 87, Basic Orange 31.

Hair dyeing formulations

It was found that following formulations are suitable to dye human hair. Final color of treated hair will depend on ratio of used hair dyes and initial hair color. By varying the ratio of hair dyes, different hair colors can be achieved. All ingredients are given by their INCI names (International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients). The concentrations of single ingredients are as active matter.

Concentrations of the following ingredients marketed as compounds (mixtures) are "as is":

Distearoylethyl Hydroxyethylmonium Methosulfate (And) Cetearyl Alcohol is the product Dehyquart® F 75. PEG/PPG-120/10 TrimethylolpropaneTrioleate (And) Laureth-2sold is the product Arlypon® TT.

Dicaprylylether (And) Decyl Glucoside (And) Glyeryl Oleate is the product Plantasil® Micro.

Coceth-7 (And) PPG-1-PEG-9 Lauryl Glycol Ether (And) PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil is the product Eumulgin®

HPS

Calcium Sodium Borosilicate, Titanium Dioxide is the product Reflecks™ Dimensions Sparkling White G 130D
