Disclosed is a method and system for filtering comments based on attitude of the comments. The method and system extracts a live feed of comments posted on a social networking site. Thereafter, the method and system processes and filters the comments by detecting a positive tone. Here, the positive tone is detected by utilizing language detection software. The comments with the positive tone are then displayed.

In an exemplary scenario, a company desires to publish positive comments about the company instantaneously on the company's

website. The method and system extracts data from the social networking site and ranks the comments based on attitude. As

shown in the figure, the method and system then displays the highest ranked comments on the company's website, wherein the

ranking is in decreasing order of positivity of the comments.
