Abstract

The invention generally relates to a warmer bed assembly and more particularly to a latching mechanism for warmer bed side panel. The invention proposes a technique of simple latching to assemble side panels to the warmer bed assembly. The technique facilitates easy flapping down the side panels to prevent unintentional removal of side panels. The side panels can be removed from the bed assembly without any tools. the corner block attached to the four corners of the bed assembly have rectangular slots with opening on the upper portion. The side panel has two inserted pins, top one with circular cross section and bottom one with rectangular cross section.

LATCHING MECHANISM FOR WARMER BED SIDE PANEL

FIELD OF INVENTION

The invention generally relates to a warmer bed assembly and more particularly to a latching mechanism for warmer bed side panel.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

In general, to attach side panels to the warmer bed assembly, the conventional technique is a complex latching mechanism. A plunger mechanism is required in the conventional techniques for warmer bed assembly. Number of parts is also large. The side panels are removed unintentionally. The reliability of the conventional technique was low as there are moving parts. The conventional techniques are expensive, difficult to manufacture and difficult to operate.

Hence there exists a need for an efficient technique for latching mechanism for warmer bed side panels.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The invention proposes a technique of simple latching to assemble side panels to the warmer bed assembly. The technique facilitates easy flapping down the side panels to prevent unintentional removal of side panels. The side panels can be removed from the bed assembly without any tools.
