This idea is related to enhancement to safety for a notebook PC using "SecurePad".

A notebook PC can be used on business inside and outside of the company. If you are authorized an access and provided with an user ID and a password, you may be able to connect with an in-company network and do the work with server management from anywhere. It's advantageous to use the notebook PC on business without limiting a place. All you need is network environments, an user ID and a password to work with the in-company network. Normally, software-based user IDs and passwords are used to access an network. However, there is no mechanism in which an access to a network can be controlled or limited by using hardware. The invention addresses such hardware based mechanism.

This invented idea is to stick RFID tags on the undersurface of the notebook PC, let a "SecurePad" having a RFID reader in it access to a server for attestation. The network access can be restricted with RFID stuck notebook PC in hardware by recording MAC Address of PC UUID, RFID, and PAD, and countering MAC Address. That is, an access to a network from a specific place is attained by this "SecurePad".
