A software defined environment, which is controlled in one panel and makes low level configuration and management closer to application level, usually requires a lot of equipment for complicated collaboration and abstraction. Although the software defined systems simplify system administration, it makes the IT equipment support more sophisticated because one symptom in seeable interface is possibly caused by one compute node or route node's mis-configuration. There are also manyseparated documentationfor different kind of equipment, for example, zone configuration needs a support refer to the docs of physical host, switches and storage. Current documentation is drafted oriented to products and limited tested solutions and the error troubleshooting guide is often only based on basic symptoms.

The troubleshoot guide often gives general information, for example, it often tells a customer the problem happens on a legacy version or a version later than x.x.x. The troubleshooting guide is not customized based on the exact environments of the customers'.

More often, A successful support process needs several rounds of information collections and troubleshooting, which is very time-consuming.

Current situation: collect logs, simulate a system with the logs. Not a overall solution --> error found process is still the old one.

It requires a lot of cross platform efforts when it comes to the way to troubleshoot the problem happened among management interfaces, such as command line interfaces, XML/Netconf, graphical user interfaces (GUIs), SSH, (Common Information Model)CIM and the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP).

Disclosed is a method and system that helps solution customer to automatically identify the solution error, software error, configuration error and hardware error based on the troubleshooting against solution. The said method and system will present the customized documentation for specific error met by the customer in production environment. The customized documentation is generated on the condition that the environment encounter some issues. With the solution captured and sent to solution matching center, the back-end support database will interpret the solution based on the overall environment from the customer and match them with the existed resolved error solution. If the error is matched with any similar one, the support back-end server will generate a customized solution which contains the error solution and customer's specific hardware, software, or solution items, for example, showing the variables as the specific value or executable commands
