The new reversing valve module is comprised of one rotary valve, electric board, with/wo transmission and power section. The power for the electric board and motor can be either from battery, turbine or wired cable. The rotary valve can be designed with holes for fluid flow passing through. When the holes are aligned, it’s in open position. Transmission can be used to increase the required torque or reduce speed to turn the valve. The electric board takes the signals to activate the valve via mud pulser, acoustic, RFID tags, magnetic sensors, cable etc. The new reversing valve can be positively turned on/off multiple times without tripping out of hole and its function won’t be affected by changing fluid property or flow rate. Some existing fluidloss control device like KOIV, FLCV, RB Valve, SAF Defender valve, CMP Defender Valve are in salable. This is not a preferred way for customer.
