Whiteboard is often used during face-to-face communication as natural method of thoughts exchanging. As today's technology moving fast to mobility, more and more people discuss their thoughts on mobile devices either in present or remote. This invention is to improve such kind of collaborations.

The major problem we are facing in the collaboration when people are all with their mobile devices, is that, the mobile devices don't talk each other and share the information efficiently. Each device will talk to a server and get information/data sent by other devices from there, through network. The invention is to set a communication method among devices(tablet, smart phone, laptop and so on) to allow them talk to each other just like human being.

This invention of collaboration leverages one of the devices acting as an "online server" when initiates a communication with others and allow others to register to the communication. After the communication being established, there won't be a single device acting as a server, but each device will have the communication "attributes and data" to avoid single point failure. Unless all the devices are disconnected from the communication, the communication will be available all the time.

In another word, dedicated server is not considered which is a big difference from today's existing solutions. Each device synchronizes the communication "attributes and data" with others. So any device failure and/or application failure will not damage the communication session at all. The disconnected device is able to rejoin the communication session and recover data from other devices that still online , even receive the new data and changes during disconnection. So the data won't be lost and communication session will be kept until all the devices disconnect.

This invention is to establish a method to allow the devices talk to each other, and share the information/data. It includes a control flow from initiating, keeping and closing the communication session and how to allow a disconnected device rejoin the session with all data recovered. So the individual of the device is able to be synchronized with all information of a discussion. It's totally a distributed computing for mobile devices.

A communication session is initialed by any of the devices. After the session being established, the rest devices would not just join into the session but also share the responsibility to hold the session. It means each device would register its identity to all other devices. Each device would broadcast its data to all other devices, and also receive or data broadcasted from all others.

Through this invention, people could talking with each other with help through their devices and share information through their devices, and will never been interrupted by any kind of failures.
