System for augment reality data entry via mobile device

Disclosed is a system and method for augment reality data entry via mobile device. Useful information within a photograph or video taken is processed and tagged on a ubiquitous mobile device.

Users are allowed to collect and keep track of their records and also be able to process data from these records. The photo become both data and record(s) at the same time. This system leverages user data input to make quick decisions and socialize the process.

A typical use case example follows:
Take a photo of a purchase receipt.

1.

Select a rectangle area of the sales tax amount or total receipt amount

2.

The phone converts/reads the image text into data,

3.

A menu is displayed to process that data, in this case, amount=$123.23

4.

The amount is stored with the photo as part of the photo meta data. Just like

5.

geolocation and timestamp is already stored with the photo.

The original receipt can be discarded.

6.

The process can be repeated by tagging additional parts of the photo, for example,

7.

tax=$1.23 or use=groceries;

The tagged data could be imported into a financial data package that categorizes

8.

purchases or keeps track of accumulated sales tax spending (for income tax reporting).
