TECHNICAL FIELD

Aspects and implementations of the present disclosure relate to data processing, and more specifically, to providing related media content items in a single media stream.

BACKGROUND

Audio and video content can be stored on data servers and provided to users for listening/viewing over the Internet. Applications for supporting the listening/viewing of such audio and video content may be browser-based, or may run independently of a browser.

Its purpose is to present some concepts of this disclosure in a simplified form as a prelude to the more detailed description that is presented later.

In an aspect of the present disclosure, a processing device processes a plurality of media content items to identify one or more related media content items. The processing device processes the one or more related media content items to determine a display sequence for the one or more related media content items. The processing device provides the one or more related media content items as a single media stream in accordance with the display sequence. In another aspect, a processing device receives a single media stream, the single media stream including one or more related media content items.
