A method and system is disclosed for displaying one or more advertisements to a user based on frequently visited locations of the user.  The method and system tracks locations that are frequently visited by the user and displays the one or more mobile advertisements based on such locations.

Description

Disclosed is a method and system for displaying one or more advertisements to a user based on frequently visited locations of the user.  The method and system tracks locations that are frequently visited by the user and displays the one or more mobile advertisements based on such locations.

In accordance with the method and system, location information of a user is monitored and stored in a database.  For example, if the user frequently visits some public places like a particular library, a particular grocery store, a particular bike shop, then such location information is stored in the database.  In an embodiment, an option is provided to the user to grant access to the location information of the user.  Once the grant is obtained, information about the user’s frequently visited location is collected and one or more advertisements are presented to the user.
