Abstract

A method and system is disclosed for optimizing budget allocation for an advertisement by applying constraint optimization algorithm on an optimization problem associated with the budget allocation. The constraint optimization algorithm considers a set of constraints associated with the optimization problem as a variable for determining solution. The set of constraint may include, but not limited to, Cost per Mille (CPM) value and number of impressions associated with each lines of the advertisement.

Description

Disclosed is a method and system for optimizing budget allocation for an advertisement by applying constraint optimization algorithm on an optimization problem associated with budget allocation.  The constraint optimization algorithm considers a set of constraints associated with the optimization problem as a variable for determining solution.  The set of constraint may include, but not limited to, Cost per Mille (CPM) value and number of impressions associated with each lines of the advertisement.

In an exemplary instance, the system and method considers a set of constraints for solving the optimization problem associated with the budget allocation.  The set of constraints may include variables/parameters related to budget allocation for the advertisement.  The budget allocation problem is solved by using a plurality of constraint optimiz...
